We want to do something big, so we have come up with Project #FDUKnighted that will launch over winter break.

Participating in multiple organizations at FDU, I’ve noticed student involvement is dragging because of everything being virtual.

Our goal with Project #FDUKnighted is to change all that.

We will start with an article covering as many campus organizations as possible, followed by a series of Instagram live streams with organization presidents. We will install an Events tab on our home page updated weekly with organization flyers.

Additionally, over winter break The Equinox will introduce a daily news update going up every morning at 10. Each day will feature a different staffer taking a unique approach to  the day ahead.

Looking back over the last week, The Equinox tipped off basketball season with a live blog for NEC Media Day for both men’s and women’s teams. Sports editor Anthony Covino and sports writer Jen Malti wrote the blog while sports writer Charles Elmo tweeted.
