<p>In today’s update, we will talk about restrictions being loosened as New Jersey increases capacity for indoor recreational businesses. </p>

<p>The state increased its indoor capacity limit from 25% to 35% on Friday morning at 8 am, ABC News <a href="https://abc7ny.com/covid-vaccine-nj-registration-locations-near-me-update-new-jersey/10316149/">reports</a>.</p>

<p>This new order comes ahead of the Super Bowl weekend, and eliminates a previous order to close all businesses by 10 p.m, <a href="https://www.nj.com/coronavirus/2020/11/nj-bars-restaurants-must-close-indoor-service-by-10-pm-under-new-covid-19-restrictions-gov-murphy-to-announce.html" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">according to</a> NJ.com.&nbsp;</p>

<p>A recent decline in positive COVID-19 cases and hospitalization have also played a role in this decision, <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://6abc.com/new-jersey-covid-19-restaurant-capacity-indoor-dining-gyms/10278743/" target="_blank">according to</a> 6abc.com</p>

<p>Gov. Phil Murphy also announced an indoor gathering limit for religious ceremonies and services, wedding ceremonies, political activities and memorial services will also be increased to 35% with 150 people maximum, <a href="https://www.nj.com/coronavirus/2021/02/indoor-capacity-limits-increase-to-35-today-for-nj-restaurants-gyms-casinos-other-venues.html" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">according to</a> nj.com.</p>

<p><strong>COVID-19 Numbers</strong></p>
