Happy Super Bowl Sunday everyone! Today’s update is going to be a little more relaxed, talking about the 2021 Pro Football Hall of Fame and, of course, the Super Bowl.

In case you have been living under a rock, or just don’t care about the NFL, tonight’s Super Bowl matchup are the Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers — which means we will be seeing Tom Brady in yet another Super Bowl. 

The game is set to air at 6 p.m. on multiple stations, just check your local listings. 

Eight new members were added to the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday night, according to ESPN.

The players are Peyton Manning (Broncos), Charles Woodson (Raiders, Packers), Calvin Johnson (Lions), Alan Faneca (Steelers, Jets, Cardinals), John Lynch (Buccaneers, Broncos), Tom Flores (Raiders, Seahawks), Drew Pearson (Cowboys) and scout Bill Nunn, ESPN continues.

While tonight’s halftime show will look different because of COVID-19, The Weekend opted to not have any guest appearances because it didn’t fit into his story, CNN reports.

One of the biggest concerns regarding the Super Bowl this year is the possible spike in COVID-19 cases. Health officials are warning against gatherings, just watch the game with those who live in your home, CNN also reports.

While watching the Super Bowl may not happen with the regular crowd, you can still enjoy some nachos or other appetizers with those in your household with some good recipes NBC put together. 

COVID-19 Numbers

As of this morning, there was an increase of 4,510 positive COVID-19 cases in New Jersey, 476 of those cases were in Bergen County.
