Hope you like snow — northern and central Jersey are being hit with two to four inches of snow from last night to early this morning, according to NJ.com. 

We had no shortage of snow the past month, with several snow storms ravaging several regions of New Jersey. It’s affecting even vaccination site operations. 

Yet, this is the season that keeps on giving!

This snowstorm is now tracked to shift further up north and gain more force than initially thought, the National Weather Service said. 

Yesterday, a winter weather advisory expanded to include 16 New Jersey counties, warning residents of the potential slippery driving conditions, the National Weather Service continues. 

The 16 counties under this warning are as follows: 

• Atlantic county 
• Bergen county 
• Burlington county 
• Camden county 
• Cape May county 
• Cumberland county 
• Essex county 
• Gloucester county 
• Hudson county 
• Mercer county 
• Middlesex county 
• Ocean county 
• Passaic county 
• Salem county 
• Union county 

The exact times each county will be under winter watch is available on this NJ.com report. 

South Jersey will still receive a heavier band of snow, around four to six inches worth — an update from the previously expected one to three inches predicted in a previous NJ.com report. 

But wait — have you ever heard of how great things come in pairs? No? Well, a second storm is predicted to hit evening today to early Friday, picking up from the previous storm this morning, a tweet from News 12 said. 

Buckle up, this weekend is going to get chilly!

COVID-19 Numbers

The following is the latest COVID-19 cases for yesterday and today. 

There were 4,370 new positive COVID-19 cases in New Jersey bringing the state’s total to 732,674, with 452 new cases in Bergen County.
