In just a week and a day, June 9th to be precise, you’ll get to once more ride your greenish horse along the greenish levels as that greenish cowboy in 2-bit Cowboy Rides Again, the sequel to the very entertaining 2-bit Cowboy [$0.99]. As we wrote a few days ago, the sequel isn’t trying to break much new ground but will, instead, simply add more of everything. The trailer shows off some of the new areas you’ll get to explore and some of the enemies you’ll have to shoot at repeatedly.

Sometimes sequels go the whole re-invention way, and while that works in some cases, in general I feel that if something isn’t broken, it’s just better to refine and expand, and that’s what 2-bit Cowboy Rides Again is doing. The game comes out on June 9th, and it will be a paid game just like its predecessor. So, get ready to party like it’s 1885.
