<p>It was a press conference defined by new hardware, with the Xbox One S and the more powerful Project Scorpio getting announced. But there were a lot of games shown off, too, from big AAA games to small indie games. There were so many that it was easy to miss all of the games shown, so we&#8217;ve rounded them up into an image gallery.</p>

<p><h2>Gears of War 4</h2>

<p>Microsoft began with a bang, showing new gameplay of <a href="http://ift.tt/1GXCags">Gears of War 4</a>. It started with a cinematic trailer and went into a demo, showing off some crazy new guns and the enemies you&#8217;ll be fighting. Gears of War 4 launches on October 11, 2016.</p>

<p><h2>Killer Instinct DLC</h2>

<p>Coming off the Gears of War 4 trailer, Microsoft announced that <a href="http://ift.tt/1tGhIXx">Killer Instinct </a>would be getting <a href="http://ift.tt/1Pq6zDw">General Raam from Gears as a playable character</a>, joining the Arbiter from <a href="http://ift.tt/1vvAlRh">Halo</a> and Rash from <a href="http://ift.tt/1CQQTUc">Battletoads</a> as crossover characters. General Raam is available now.</p>

<p><h2>Forza Horizon 3</h2>

<p>The first big game reveal of the conference was <a href="http://ift.tt/1tmOLob">Forza Horizon 3</a>. Notably, the game will feature cross-play support between the Xbox One and Windows 10 versions. It&#8217;ll also have four-player co-op. <a href="http://ift.tt/1XlodzT">It&#8217;s coming on September 27</a>.</p>

<p><h2>Recore</h2>

<p>We got a look at <a href="http://ift.tt/1fAqDI3">Recore</a>, the Microsoft exclusive from the designer of <a href="http://ift.tt/1ehxd5I">Mega Man</a>, Keiji Inafune. Although Microsoft still hasn&#8217;t shown much gameplay, we did get a better idea of the game&#8217;s world and characters. <a href="http://ift.tt/1VVzqGk">Microsoft also announced Recore&#8217;s release date as September 13</a>.</p>

<p><h2>Final Fantasy XV on Xbox One</h2>

<p>It&#8217;s the first <a href="http://ift.tt/1tGJccU">Final Fantasy XV</a> demo shown on Xbox One, and it&#8217;s a big one: the demo presents a pretty massive battle with a Titan. <p><h2>The Division: Underground DLC</h2>

<p>We got a brief look at the upcoming expansion for <a href="http://ift.tt/1tG6yio">The Division</a>, called Underground. It&#8217;ll task you with exploring randomly generated tunnels and subways underneath New York. <a href="http://ift.tt/1VVJm2K">It&#8217;s coming to Xbox One and PC on June 28 and to PS4 on August 2</a>.</p>

<p><h2>Battlefield 1</h2>

<p>Microsoft rolled the trailer for <a href="http://ift.tt/1rySU7M">Battlefield 1</a> that we saw yesterday and announced that it&#8217;ll be playable nine days early for Xbox One EA Access members, on October 13. If you don&#8217;t have EA Access, <a href="http://ift.tt/1Pq6r78">it will be available on October 18</a> if you buy the deluxe version and October 21 if you buy the regular version.</p>

<p><h2>Minecraft Realms and the Friendly Update</h2>

<p><a href="http://ift.tt/1mujeXx">Minecraft</a> is still wildly popular, and Microsoft wants to make it even bigger. It&#8217;s launching cross-play with Windows 10, iOS, Android, and Xbox One versions of the game through an update called Realms. <a href="http://ift.tt/1XloDXg">This update is Xbox Live-powered</a>, meaning you&#8217;ll get to unlock achievements even if you play on your iPad.</p>

<p><a href="http://ift.tt/1cBrshu">Inside</a>, the next game from <a href="http://ift.tt/1y28W9g">Limbo</a> developer Playdead, <a href="http://ift.tt/1XlqdIw">is coming to Xbox One on June 29</a>. It got a very short trailer showing off some of the environments in the game. At the end, the main character gets assaulted and pursued for being a &quot;downer&quot;&#8211;someone who goes off the &quot;joy&quot; drug.</p>

It&#8217;s a <a href="http://ift.tt/1XloxyQ">multiplayer exploration game</a> from Rare in which you and a team can take control of a pirate ship. Teams of players can then battle each other in their ships.</p>

<p>One of the biggest surprises of the press conference was <a href="http://ift.tt/1tmQbyK">State of Decay 2</a>, the follow-up to the rough but entertaining zombie game from Undead Labs. There was very little gameplay shown off, <a href="http://ift.tt/1Xlq483">but the game&#8217;s world looks beautiful</a>.</p>

<p>Finally, Microsoft showed a bit of <a href="http://ift.tt/1Upk2lz">Halo Wars 2</a> gameplay and a story trailer. We learned that the game will be a direct sequel to the story of the original <a href="http://ift.tt/1PwFaPf">Halo Wars</a>, and it&#8217;ll feature a new sect of Covenant enemies called the Banished. <a href="http://ift.tt/1Urb0Ue">Halo Wars 2 is coming out on February 21, 2017.</a></p>
