<p>Speaking today at <a href="http://ift.tt/2a8BG9S">Develop: Brighton</a>, game developer Hideo Kojima discussed the reason he has stayed in game development for so long in an interview with Mark Cerny.
</p>
<p>&quot;Every game brings me closer and closer to making what I imagine,&quot; Kojima told Cerny. &quot;That’s why I could never stop making games.&quot;
</p>
<p>Comments like these come after Kojima&#8217;s moves through the industry, including <a href="http://ift.tt/1SBn95B">a tumultuous separation</a> from Konami, publisher of the Metal Gear Solid series. Kojima now runs his own studio, Kojima Productions, and <a href="http://ift.tt/1UaeNHn">unveiled the studio&#8217;s newest project Death Stranding live</a> during Sony&#8217;s E3 2016 press conference. Kojima recently discussed about how he was very concerned this latest project <a target="_blank" href="http://ift.tt/29YQdse">would leak before its E3 reveal</a>.
