Discover new life, and blow it up

No Man’s Sky is a stunning game when shown in trailer form, but some players are still a bit confused about what you’ll be doing throughout the game. The game’s latest trailer, which is the second release in a four-part series that will show off different parts of the experience, focuses on the game’s combat.

You’ll be taking the battle both to the surfaces of these planets and to the skies above them, and this trailer does a great job of showing both types of combat. You’ll see some alien life, as well as the ships that hope to control the skies, and you’ll get a better understanding of how combat will look and feel.

Videos focusing on the last two core pillars of No Man’s Sky (trading and survival) will be released in the next few weeks, according to Sony. No Man’s Sky is set for release in less than a month: Aug. 9 on PlayStation 4 and Windows PC.
