The Walking Dead developer Telltale Games appeared at a San Diego Comic-Con panel to reveal some new images and details about the upcoming Season 3. We now know that players will control two different characters and be introduced to a familiar face.

One of the playable characters is series protagonist Clementine, who has aged a few years since Season 2. You’ll switch between her and new character Javier, but you won’t play as both of them in the "same frame of time."

Javier is described as a survivor that’s "currently struggling to keep his family together in the face of the undead apocalypse." Additionally, Telltale confirmed that AJ, the child of Rebecca, will return in Season 2. Don’t hold it against yourself if you don’t remember him because he was only a baby in the second season. The Walking Dead Season 3 is set to premiere later this year on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, PC, Mac, and mobile devices.
