In November of last year, Raredrop Games brought us the fun auto-runner Classy Quest [Free] which had you constantly changing into different classes of character as you played. Today they’ve unveiled their latest project, a puzzler called To The Throne that has a very Game Boy-esque 4-color palette. Your job in To The Throne is to move blocks around each level in order to create a stairway to the exit, but since not all blocks can be moved and some have different properties, there’s a puzzle element to fitting the blocks together correctly.

As a child of the ’80s, I’m always down for the Game Boy aesthetic, which To The Throne does quite well. Also, what’s the deal with video games always having some all-powerful artifact being shattered into pieces and spread across the land? This is such a frequent problem you’d think folks would start making their all-powerful artifacts out of a sturdier material, or something. At any rate, To The Throne is looking really cool so look for it on the App Store next week on August 4th.
