World Records may be tumbling in the Olympic Games in Rio, but there are also new marks to be set in the speedrunning community. Panga, who we’ve featured in the past thanks to his outrageously complicated Super Mario Maker creations, has reclaimed the record for the fastest blindfolded run of Super Mario World.

Having seen his record taken off him he got under the 16 minute mark, which involves some tricky manoeuvres and shortcuts. You can see the run below from the 2:29 mark, though we should warn you there’s a little bit of strong language at times.

It’s a hugely impressive feat, demonstrating complete familiarity and mastery of the game.

That’ll be a tough record to beat, until Panga tries it again – he reckons a flawless run can go under 14 minutes.
