Microsoft’s newly released Xbox One S console is sold out everywhere, and there’s a good chance it won’t be coming back.

While Microsoft is planning on releasing more Xbox One S bundles in the future, the 2TB edition that launched last week won’t be replenished, according to Eurogamer.

Microsoft will instead launch a selection of 1TB and 500GB versions later this year.

But if you had your heart set on a 2TB Xbox One S console bundle, then you might want to lay down some cash for the Gears of War 4 bundle instead.

“We’re excited by the reaction from fans for the Xbox One S. While stock of the 2TB has sold out, gamers can pre-order the Xbox One S 2TB Gears of War Limited Edition console,” a Microsoft spokesperson said.

“We will be sharing further details on other Xbox One S bundles and variations in the coming weeks.”

The 2TB Gears of War console bundle will be available for £399 when it launches in October. It contains:

EA Sports has also hinted at an Xbox One S bundle of its own. The company released an image of an Xbox One S FIFA 17 console bundle featuring cover star Marcus Reus.

Speaking about the potential new FIFA 17 Xbox One S bundle, Phil Jones from Console Deals said: Gamers have been looking to get their hands on the Xbox One S ever since its announcement at E3, proven by the 2TB launch model selling out.

“The 500GB and 1TB capacities will be as eagerly received and will offer gamers who are looking to get the latest console a more affordable option.

“It makes sense that there will be an Xbox One S FIFA 17 bundle.

“FIFA 16 bundles have been extremely successful over the last 12 months, and we see that trend continuing with the next iteration of console and FIFA.”
