Bandai Namco has confirmed that Pokkén Tournament has shipped one million units globally – no mean feat for a Wii U game.

The fighting title – which is best described as a crossover between Tekken and Pokémon – launched in arcades before coming to Nintendo’s home console, and has secured a sizeable audience which should hopefully ensure we see a sequel in some form or another.
