<p>Earthlock: Festival of Magic premieres for free on the console</p>
<p>One of Xbox Live&#8217;s Games with Gold for September <a target="_blank" href="http://ift.tt/2boO1qm">will be <i>Earthlock: Festival of Magic</i></a><i>, </i>a western-themed adventure with origins in the turn-based role-playing games made great by Japanese developers.</p>
<p><i>Earthlock</i>&#8216;s launch trailer is above, excerpting the game&#8217;s combat, cutscenes and voice-bubble dialogue. Snowcastle Games, a Norwegian studio, is the developer, and the game showcases nordic themes. <i>Earthlock</i> began as a crowdfunded project in 2013, coming to fruition now.</p>
<p>Snowcastle <a target="_blank" href="http://ift.tt/2b8N9FL">announced <i>Earthlock</i>&#8216;s Sept. 1 launch date back in July</a>, saying that versions for PlayStation 4 and Wii U would follow &quot;a month or two&quot; after the Windows PC and Xbox One launch.</p>
