The Legend of Dark Witch and its sequel can hardly be considered 3DS eShop classics, but they have their fans, and there’s a good chance that the third outing will attract even more followers now that we know who is handling development duties.

The Legend of Dark Witch 3 was teased back in August and was recently shown off at the Tokyo Game Show. The big news here is that M2 is responsible this time around, a company which will be familiar to fans of Sega’s superb range of 3D Classics on the 3DS. M2 also works with Nintendo on emulating games for its Virtual Console service.
