The closest we’ll get to a new Darkstalkers anytime soon

Street Fighter 5 players will have the chance to conjure the Halloween spirit this month with a fresh batch of "spook-tacular" costumes for Capcom’s fighting game.

While it appears that not every character on the Street Fighter 5 roster will be dressing up, at least Ryu, Charlie, Vega, Cammy, Necali, Alex and Juri are getting some Halloween-themed DLC. Those costumes will only be available for a limited time, however. They’ll be available for purchase from the PlayStation Store and Steam from Oct. 11 to Nov. 29. Each Halloween costume is priced at $3.99 / €3.99 / £3.29.

Capcom will also release a Halloween-themed stage next week. The stage is stuffed with jack-o’-lanterns and features a couple of cameos: Street Fighter 3‘s Necro and Effie can be seen hanging around a witch’s cauldron in the background. The Halloween stage is priced at $1.99 / €1.99 / £1.29 or 40,000 Fight Money.
