<![CDATA[Gears of War Movie Confirmed]]>During today’s Gears of War 4 launch live stream, Coalition studio head Rod Fergusson confirmed that a Gears of War film is in development at Universal.

No writer or director has been announced yet, and Fergusson would not confirm at what point in the Gears universe the movie will take place.

In the past, a possible Gears of War movie has been discussed, but that project had no talent or distributors attached to it.
