It may be the CW’s biggest event yet

Last season, the CW treated superhero fans to a Flash and Arrow crossover. This season, the crossover event is going to be bigger than ever before with Supergirl and the team from Legends of Tomorrow joining the mix. Today, the CW released a new trailer for Legends of Tomorrow’s second season, which debuts next week, and with it gave us our first look at the special.

For the most part, the two-and-a-half minute video focuses on what’s to come this season on Legends of Tomorrow, so if you’re just looking for situations featuring the Flash, Arrow or Supergirl, skip to about two minutes in. Although it’s brief, we do finally get to see the CW’s main roster of superheroes together at last.

During a press tour this summer, executive producer and overseer of the DC universe on the CW, Greg Berlanti, said they had a couple of new features they wanted to explore with the crossover. It’s going to be a multi-episode affair, and most importantly, will feature a musical component.

While Arrow and The Flash are already back, Legends of Tomorrow returns Oct. 13 at 8 p.m. ET with Supergirl making its debut on the network Oct. 10 at 8 p.m. as well.
