It’s that time of the year, so developer after developer is spilling Halloween ooze over games, and today was the turn of Supercell and Clash of Clans [Free]. The central theme of the Halloween update for this year is Boosted Brews & Bones, and you can figure out what that means in the context of the game. For a limited time, Boost Spell brewing for 1 Gem only and cheaper and faster training for Skeleton Spells, Witches, Balloons, and Wall Breakers. Expect plenty of "chilling surprises" – like spooky obstacles – to pop up during this period, although what those might be only the Gods of Halloween know.

In addition to gameplay changes, there is also a nice Halloween theme in the game now that makes the game spookier than usual (there are so many skeletons and witches in Clash of Clans, you don’t really need a Halloween patch to make it Halloween).
