<p><a class="autolink" title="Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King" href="http://ift.tt/2erWaOG">Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King</a> releases for 3DS in North America and Europe on January 20, Nintendo has announced.</p>
<p>This remake of the <a href="http://ift.tt/VkScuC" target="_blank">beloved PlayStation 2 RPG</a> boasts several additions to the original, including two new playable characters and additional side quests, as well as <a href="http://ift.tt/1TgEkhh">new dungeons and an alternate ending</a>.</p>

<p>The upcoming 3DS version also features a new new Quick-Save function that gives players the ability to save and exit at any time during the game. Additionally, a photo mode has been added, as well as a Speed Up feature, which shortens the time it takes to complete battles.</p>
