The Pokemon Sun and Moon anime unfortunately won’t make its debut in the United States for some time, but The Pokemon Company did release a new trailer which very clearly shows that Alola is not the soothing getaway some promotional art depicts it as.

In the new trailer we see Ash and Pikachu going to school, meeting the new Alola Pokemon Tapu Koko, and taking on the region’s new enemies, Team Skull. We also see Pikachu having a really, really hard time.

Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon is available November 18 worldwide and November 23 in Europe. If you haven’t already, be sure to check out IGN’s Pokemon Sun and Moon game review and head over to the wiki for tips and a differences guide.
