Before the release of the much-awaited Xbox Project Scorpio on 2017, Xbox One has answered one of its user’s greatest concern, its sluggish downloading experience. Although the console is doing better with its excellent game selection, media features, best controllers, and excellent online service, the time consumed for downloading is debilitating.

Owners of Xbox One may have noticed a huge difference after the console’s recent update. For some reasons, it has become faster and fortunately, this is not just a mere imagination. After several complaints about it slow download, Microsoft speeds up its device for up to 80% quicker.

The news was shared on Microsoft’s Xbox support page and the update was entitled “10.0.14393.2152 (rs1_xbox_rel_1610 161208-1218) fre”. This did not only enhance the general stability of the entire system but also, lessens the amount of waiting time for the game to completely download.

Quicker Download For Users

Technically, all users will experience a difference in downloading however, the biggest improvement will be for those who are using a high-speed internet connection, which according to Microsoft’s support website, should be greater than 100Mbps. Apps and games are downloaded 80% faster compared to its past performance.

But there’s no need to worry for those who don’t have that ultra fast connection, according to TechRadar, they too, will experience the great performance boost. The update’s note also stated that anyone who has a connection less than the preferred 100Mbps will still be able to experience a boost in their system.

This would take about 40% times faster compared to the previous downloading time, therefore, downloading Forza Horizon 3, Destiny, Fifa 17, Halo 5: Guardians, Battlefiedl 1, Gears of War 4, and more, will take only a few hours or less. No more reason to get agitated instead, another reason to get hooked with Microsoft’s Xbox One!
