With this year’s Consumer Electronics Show getting underway, Acer has made a number of announcements, including one regarding its previously announced Predator 21 X gaming laptop. You can probably safely assume right now that you won’t be getting one anytime soon.

Launching in North America next month, the Predator 21 X costs $8,999. Or, more precisely, prices start at $8,999 and go up from there, depending upon the particular options. In EMEA regions, prices start at 9,999 Euros.

As you’d expect, the Predator 21 X boasts some high-end hardware: It comes with an i7-7820HK processor and two GTX 1080 cards running with SLI. Going along with that, it has 64 GB of DDR-2400 memory, a 1 TB 7200 RPM hard drive, and as many as four 512 GB solid state drives. This thing is appropriately massive, with a full-sized Cherry MX Brown mechanical keyboard, four speakers, and two subwoofers.

Acer also says it’s the first laptop with a curved screen, as well as eye-tracking tech for use in games like Watch Dogs 2 and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. However, while the 21-inch, G-Sync-capable screen features a 120 Hz IPS panel, it’s limited to a 2560 x 1080 resolution.

Acer also announced an updated version of its Predator 17 X laptop, which is itself pricey (starting at $2,599), but not nearly to the degree the 21 X is. That device can now come with an i7-7820HK and a single GTX 1080. You can read more about the possible configurations here.
