According to VG24/7, the project is a collaboration between Ubisoft and students at NHTV in the Netherlands. "The game itself is a co-op escape room where players must solve numerous puzzles inside Leonardo’s workshop to recover a piece of Eden," says lead designer Tim van Kan on his website.

He also points out that, "currently there is no plan for game to be commercially released or released at all." This still leaves the chance of it will showing up at games expos, but it’s also possible that Ubisoft is simply testing the waters for the possibilities of turning its major franchises into VR experiences without expending too much effort on its own part.
