The Xbox One backwards compatibility list expanded earlier today, as Microsoft added another Xbox 360 classic.

LEGO Indiana Jones is now available as part of the Xbox One backwards compatibility program, which now boasts well over 300 games.

The news was announced by Larry ‘Major Nelson’ Hryb, who said: “LEGO Indiana Jones is coming to Xbox One Backward Compatibility today.”

This could be the mysterious game that was supposed to join the backwards compatibility scheme last week.

If you already own backwards compatibility titles, then they’ll automatically appear in your games and apps list. Alternatively, you can buy digital downloads from the Xbox One store and Xbox website.

Xbox One backwards compatibility recently expanded with three games, including Xbox 360 versions of Stuntman: Ignition, Mad Tracks and JUJU.

That was preceded by the likes of TEKKEN 6, Midway Arcade Origins and Mutant Storm Empire.

It was recently revealed that Xbox One backwards compatibility could make the transition to Windows 10 PC.

That’s according to Xbox One boss Phil Spencer, who told one Twitter follower that Microsoft hasn’t ruled it out.

However, fans probably shouldn’t get too excited, because Microsoft would have to overcome a few hurdles to make backwards compatibility a possibility on PC.

On the plus side, backwards compatibility will be available on Xbox Scorpio.

“Running BC reliably on all the different PC HW configs would be a lot more work than XB1, but never say never,” Spencer tweeted.

“The same 360 games that work on XB1 will work on Scorpio,” he added.

Microsoft has given the Xbox Scorpio a holiday 2017 release date, and is expected to reveal more at E3 2017.
