<p>Speaking at a media roundtable event at the studio&#8217;s offices (via <a target="_blank" href="http://ift.tt/2kbeJGs">Eurogamer</a>) Newell said, &quot;We get really frustrated working in walled gardens.&quot;
</p>
<p>While the company released several games for consoles last generation, including Portal 2 and The Orange Box, Valve has so far shown no public interest in bringing its games to PS4 or Xbox One, despite console hardware sales being even better this generation.
