<p>Tearing open the box is one thing, but actually taking apart the <a class="autolink" title="Nintendo Switch" href="http://ift.tt/2fNIdtv">Nintendo Switch</a> is another.</p>
<p>Yet, that&#8217;s what <a href="http://ift.tt/2m5Y5fz" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">the Fictiv Blog</a> did. Instead of playing games on Nintendo Switch, they decided to see what&#8217;s under the hood, or actually the screen in this instance. Take a look at one photo below.</p>

<p>One of the funny takeaways from the teardown is that the speakers aren&#8217;t actually behind the speaker grills on the back of the hybrid system. Also of note is that the kickstand might feel cheap, but it&#8217;s actually made of glass-filled nylon.</p>
<p>In addition to the tablet, Fictiv also looked inside the Joy-Cons but didn&#8217;t discuss <a href="http://ift.tt/2m5eaCs" target="_blank">the Switch controller sync issues</a>.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s also important to know what&#8217;s happening on the system&#8217;s outer shell. And apparently, <a href="http://ift.tt/2mteprL" target="_blank">stickers and skins cause surface damage to the Nintendo Switch</a>.</p>
