The Xbox One’s backwards compatibility feature, introduced in November 2015, lets you play Xbox 360 games on your Xbox One or Xbox One S.

At the time Microsoft promised “hundreds” of games would come to the service and in 2016 they certainly didn’t disappoint, adding the likes of Red Dead Redemption, the Bioshock trilogy, the Mass Effect trilogy, and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion to the program.

If you’re wondering what games are available right now, don’t worry, we’ve rounded them all up – and will continue to update this post as new games are added – into a handy list which you’ll find below.

Should you own any of these games, then they should show up automatically in your Xbox One game library. 

If you don’t see your favorite game here then don’t fret. Microsoft has said it is holding discussions with all major publishers and developers to possibly bring their games to the program.

Additionally, Xbox Head Phil Spencer had also suggested that the team could look at the prospect of bringing original Xbox games into the fold for backwards compatibility in the future.
