There’s an app for that

If you head over to Walmart’s website right now you’ll see that they appear to have the Nintendo Switch in stock. But when you click on the item, you’re prompted to purchase a bundle. Don’t want the bundle? Too bad. There’s no way to un-bundle it.

Or is there?

I spent the last few minutes poking around at Walmart’s website. I couldn’t believe that a retailer of their size and stature would do something like this. Maybe it’s a bug that will be fixed soon, but even when you select the “Don’t want the bundle” option below …

… it still takes you back to the bundle.

But not if you use the app.

We tested the app on iOS and were able to put a Switch all by itself into our cart. It shows that it will arrive by Monday, May 15. It’s even available for in-store pick-up next week. Let us know how you fare in the comments.
