After a few months of speculation, Axiom Verge is now confirmed for the Switch.

Badlands Games, who are handling the publishing of the physical Multiverse Edition of the game, announced today that they are taking preorders for a Switch version of the game in addition to the previously announced Wii U, PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 4 copies of the game. The Switch version will be slightly more expensive than the others, with a MSRP of $39.99 / €39.99 / equivalent, but will include a soundtrack CD in addition to the artbook / map / documentary.

Currently, the package is slated to release in August.
