This month’s update for Final Fantasy XV will add a new off-road version of the Regalia.
According to Square Enix’s announcement (translation via Gematsu) players will soon have access to the “Regalia Type-D,” a version of Noctis’ vehicle that allows players to take the Regalia off the main road. This off-road-ready version of the Regalia will also be able to jump.
Square Enix also confirmed that its next character-drive DLC chapter, dubbed Episode Prompto, will release sometime later this month. Likewise, the “Cup Noodle Star” equipment will be available in late June.
Last month’s update for Final Fantasy XV included a survey asking players what they would like to see from future updates. If you haven’t already participated, you can still vote on what DLC you’d like to see in the future. Voting concludes at the end of June.
Story DLC for Gladio released earlier this year. In addition to downloadable episodes focused on Prompto and Ignis, Square Enix plans to release a co-op multiplayer expansion called Comrades.
