Earlier this afternoon, Nintendo’s Super Mario Run [Free] vanished from the App Store. Like most things Nintendo does, it came with no explanation or details beyond us just noticing it was gone. My theory heavily employed Occam’s Razor (and maybe a touch of Hanlon’s Razor) in just assuming that someone screwed something up or made a mistake. As of a few moments ago, Super Mario Run is back on the App Store.

Looking at the update history of Super Mario Run, version 3.0.2 hit yesterday and 3.0.3 hit today, both offering "bug fixes." It’s entirely possible that there was some sort of bug in one of these versions that Nintendo wanted to take care of before it spread too much- Or, at least, it wouldn’t be the first time we’ve seen a developer do something like that.

Whatever the reason, it’s back now. Our official stance on all this?
