<p>As detailed in a <a href="http://ift.tt/2Bgtiml">forum post</a>, the new &quot;Offline Play&quot; menu option allows gamers to launch a map of their choice as Jason, with three tiers of difficulty available to suit players&#8217; preference. Difficulty affects gameplay features such as how long counselors remember Jason&#8217;s presence, how quickly they react and their willingness to fight. Depending on how murderous players are feeling, there&#8217;s also the option to choose from 1-7 counselors to hunt.
