It’s been nine years since the MotoGP franchise last graced a Nintendo console with 2009’s MotoGP on Wii (back when Capcom did things other than Resi and Street Fighter), but that two-wheeled drought is finally coming to an end this June with the arrival of Milestone’s MotoGP 18.

With a release date set for 7th June 2018, the Italian developer has released a short behind-the-scenes clip that shows some of the new tech its using to recreate the realism of the world’s most prestigious motorcycling tournament. You’ll get to see how drones and special 3D cameras will help reproduce every track on the official calendar – we just hope all this realism isn’t lost on the Switch port.
