Just Cause 4, Gears of War 5 and a new Splinter Cell are among a group of unannounced games that a major retailer has listed online.
It’s important to note these could just serve as placeholders instead of outing possible E3 2018 surprises. But Walmart Canada (spotted by Wario64) has posted pages for Rage 2, LEGO DC Villains and Borderlands 3 as well.
There are also a couple of head-scratchers, like Dragon Quest 2 and Forza Horizon 5 — the last game was Forza Horizon 3, for instance. Maybe it’s just a typo that’s supposed to say 4.
While Rage 2 might seem odd as well, Bethesda has discussed a sequel for that before. LEGO DC Villains is also a likely leak since it was reported with the already announced LEGO Incredibles at the start of the year.
Gearbox has heavily hinted at Borderlands 3 in the past, with the thought 90 percent of the studio is focused on the game.
This is actually the second major listing for Splinter Cell. Amazon Canada had a page up for the unannounced game back in March, and Sam Fisher recently showed up in Ghost Recon: Wildlands.
Once again, though, Walmart Canada might just be getting prepared for these announcements in case they happen at E3 next month. None of the games are confirmed.
