The Overwatch team announced the event on Twitter, revealing brawls and cosmetics from the past will make a return for the event.
Overwatch originally released in May 2016, and the game went on to earn an impressive 9.4 in our review, going on to become IGN’s Game Of The Year as well.
For more on Overwatch, the game won a 2018 BAFTA award, and game director Jeff Kaplan recently said the development team may bring cross-platform progression sharing to the game.
It also was recently announced that the Overwatch League Grand Finals will be held in New York.
