Fortnite’s Self-Service Cosmetics Return feature is apparently coming back to the game on June 1.
The self-refund feature was initially introduced in an update last month but was rolled back after Epic Games discovered an issue with it. However, a customer service email from the developer, screencapped and shared on the Fortnite: Battle Royale Leaks Twitter account, states the feature is going live on June 1.
“If you’d like a refund on a recently purchased cosmetic item in Fortnite Battle Royale, you’re in luck,” reads the email. “Our Self-Service Cosmetic Return feature will be live by June 1st!”
It goes on to confirm that players will be allowed to return up to three cosmetic purchases for a V-bucks refund for the lifetime of their account.
Epic’s original update also stipulated that items would be eligible for refunds only within 30 days of purchase.
Another Twitter user confirmed they had received the same email, but Epic has yet to officially announce the return date of the feature.
