The rapper dropped a surprise album last night featuring a song from the movie’s soundtrack

Rapper Eminem dropped a surprise album at midnight Friday (titled Kamikaze), and the very last track on this late-night release is a track called “Venom,” which — you guessed it — will be featured in Sony’s upcoming Venom movie.

Eminem had teased the track before the album’s release, tweeting a very short clip (in which he raps “VeNUUUUMMM”) and tagging the movie’s account. Curiosity picked up among fans, with responses ranging from sheer excitement to, uh, more mixed reactions.

The four-and-a-half-minute track features shout-outs to Edgar Allan Poe, Dr. Dre and Danica Patrick, among others. There’s also the repetition of “VeNUMMMM” — you know, just in case you weren’t sure who this track was about.

The Genius lyrics interpretations of the song offer more in-depth observations — for instance, in this line:

You marvel that? Eddie Brock is you
And I’m the suit, so call me

A user observed that we as listeners are all Eddie Brock — the powerless, totally mundane human — but by listening to Eminem’s lyrics, we are thus empowered to turn into our Venom (or Slim Shady) alter egos. Profound, truly. Who wouldn’t want to walk around with a parasitic symbiote and a slobbering tongue?

Venom (with Eminem’s “Venom”) hits theaters on Oct. 5.
