If you’re aching to play Fortnite on your Android device, the time has come.

Epic Games announced today that Fortnite is available for all players on Android devices — no longer just those who were invited to the earlier, private beta. The game first launched on Android alongside the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, and only owners of that and other recent Samsung Galaxy devices had access to the game until now.

Players who want to download the game will have to go to Epic’s specific Fortnite website, as the game isn’t available to download through Google’s Play Store. Epic’s CEO, Tim Sweeney, told The Verge in August that the company wants a “direct relationship with our customers on all platforms where that’s possible.”

“The great thing about the Internet and the digital revolution is that this is possible, now that physical storefronts and middlemen distributors are no longer required.”

Fortnite is already available for iOS players, but through Apple’s App Store. Sweeney told Eurogamer that, if Epic Games had the option, the company would bypass distributing the game through the App Store, but that’s not possible. Still, Sweeney told Polygon in August that he’s hopeful more openness will occur across all platforms.

“Already you can purchase Fortnite V-Bucks or in-game items on PC, Mac, iOS, or Android and use them on all of those other devices, and even on some combination of console platforms,” Sweeney said. “We’d love to see the whole circle completed.”

To download Fortnite on your Android device, go to the Fortnite website and scan the QR code.
