LEGO Star Wars is returning, completing the series’ inclusion of every episode in the franchise while also offering older versions in a new collection.

As announced on Microsoft’s press conference stage during E3 2019, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will include levels from every numbered entry in the Star Wars franchise, including Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker content.

Rumors earlier this year suggested a new LEGO Star Wars was in development, however no official confirmation has come before today. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will be released in 2020.

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens was the last LEGO Star Wars game released, and back in 2016 we praised it and said “the story is great, the levels are dense with fun puzzles, and unlocking all of the secrets is a blast.”

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will join Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series as one of three high-profile Star Wars games for fans to look forward to in 2019.

LEGO and Warner Bros. previously released LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga, which combined the previously released LEGO Star Wars, which included Episodes I-III, and LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy, which compiled Episode IV-VI. A third numbered entry, LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars, was also released.
