Between EA Play, Microsoft, Ubisoft, Bethesda, and Square Enix’s press conferences, the Nintendo Direct and Treehouse, Google Stadia Connect, the Kinda Funny Games Showcase, Devolver Digital’s showcase, the PC Gaming Show, the Indiecade showcase, the E3 Coliseum, and so much more, it’s kind of impossible to count every single game that made an appearance in and around E3 2019 in some way. But we can try!

Here’s almost every game at E3 2019 and where you can read more about them.

Cyberpunk 2077

One of the biggest reveals during Microsoft’s E3 2019 press conference was Cyberpunk 2077’s release date, April 16, 2020, which was announced with the help of surprise guest star Keanu Reeves. New gameplay details and an hour-long hands-off demo has answered a ton of questions, and raised some new ones.

Marvel’s Avengers

The long-teased Avengers game from Square Enix was finally revealed during Square’s press conference, along with a release date of May 15, 2020. Fans got a look at the upcoming four-player action-adventure game and its cast of heroes during the reveal, but IGN also got to see an extended gameplay demo behind-closed-doors.

Final Fantasy VII Remake

Final Fantasy VII Remake dominated much of Square Enix’s press conference, providing more details on its structure as a multi-disc game and a deep dive into its combat mechanics. It’s coming out March 3, 2020. IGN’s hands-on preview called it more than just a remake, but a “reinvention” of the classic game.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild sequel

New Smash fighter reveals and a gameplay trailer for Animal Crossing: New Horizons were some of the most-anticipated highlights of the E3 2019 Nintendo Direct, but who expected a surprise teaser for a dark, moody Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild sequel? There isn’t much info on this one floating around just yet, but fans are definitely excited.

Watch Dogs Legion

Watch Dogs Legion was officially revealed during Ubisoft’s E3 2019 press conference with a trailer and gameplay demo showing off its rumored “play as any NPC” feature. You can read IGN’s Watch Dogs Legion preview for more on how it works. It’s out March 6, 2020.

Gears 5

Gears 5 got a release date during Microsoft’s E3 2019 press conference, as well as a collector’s edition that includes a real remote-controllable Jack drone.

Halo Infinite

Halo Infinite was revealed at last year’s E3, but this year Microsoft revealed it will be an Xbox Project Scarlett launch title. It also brought a brand new cinematic trailer to show off.

Elden Ring

After a leak on Bandai Namco’s website, Elden Ring was officially revealed during Microsoft’s E3 2019 press conference. It will be a dark fantasy open-world action RPG in the vein of FromSoftware’s Dark Souls series, with a world and mythos co-written by George R. R. Martin.

Pokémon Sword and Shield

More details on Pokémon Sword and Shield were revealed during the E3 Nintendo Direct and Nintendo Treehouse Live, including more on the Wild Area, how Dynamax Raids work, and a few new characters.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order got a full gameplay reveal during EA Play. The 15 minute gameplay demo revealed a number of characters, enemies, droids, and locations that will make appearances, the existence of skill points, and a few combat styles.

Gods & Monsters

Gods & Monsters is a new game from Ubisoft, announced during its E3 2019 press conference and developed by the team behind Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. It’s an open-world fantasy adventure game inspired by Greek mythology and has a release date of February 25, 2020. IGN’s preview of Gods & Monsters dives into the game’s mix of puzzles, platforming, and combat, storytelling approach, and worldbuilding.

Deathloop

Arkane Studios Lyon, the team behind Dishonored, revealed a new game called Deathloop during Bethesda’s E3 2019 press conference. Deathloop is a first-person action game about two assassins locked into a looping battle.

The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening Remake

The remake of The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening got a release date of September 20 during the E3 Nintendo Direct, alongside the announcement of a dungeon builder and some cool new gameplay.

Luigi’s Mansion 3

Luigi’s Mansion 3 didn’t get a release date during the Nintendo Direct, but we did get to see more gameplay and multiplayer details, including the reveal of… Gooigi.

GhostWire: Tokyo

GhostWire: Tokyo is a mysterious new horror game from the creators of The Evil Within, described as a supernatural action-adventure about mass disappearances in what appears to be modern day Tokyo. According to creative director Ikumi Nakamura, “you will encounter conspiracies and the occult” as you try to discover why people are vanishing. No gameplay was revealed.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons

The E3 Nintendo Direct and Nintendo Treehouse LIve finally gave fans a look at Animal Crossing: New Horizons gameplay, but it also delayed the game to 2020. IGN also found out more in an interview with two members of the development team, like Isabelle’s role in the game and how multiplayer will work.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot

Upcoming action RPGDragon Ball Z: Kakarot got a new gameplay trailer during Microsoft’s E3 2019 press conference. Previously called Dragon Ball Project Z, Kakarot is coming in 2020. IGN’s hands-on demo with Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot praised its marriage of RPG and fighting game elements.

Doom Eternal

Doom Eternal now has a release date of November 22. E3 gave us more details on its multiplayer mode and a few brand new trailers.

Borderlands 3

E3 gave us a new Borderlands 3 trailer and more gameplay details. Find out what IGN thought in our hands-on Borderlands 3 impressions.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

Infinity Ward showed off the first Call of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer screenshots at E3 Coliseum 2019, which featured a character in a ghillie suit and teased the Juggernaut suit’s return.

The Outer Worlds

Gameplay and a release date were both revealed for the upcoming sci-fi RPG shooter The Outer Wilds during Microsoft’s E3 2019 press conference.

Dying Light 2

Dying Light 2 got a new gameplay trailer and a release window of Q2 2020.

 

Final Fantasy VIII Remastered

While Final Fantasy VII Remake was what fans wanted to see during Square Enix’s E3 2019 press conference, the surprise reveal of a Final Fantasy VIII remaster had the crowd cheering. It’s headed to all major current-gen consoles this year.

Fallout 76: Wastelanders and Nuclear Winter

Bethesda gave fans more details on Fallout 76’s upcoming free Wastelanders DLC and revealed an all-new 52-player battle royale mode called Nuclear Winter.

Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot

Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot is a Wolfenstein VR game coming later this year. You can watch its new trailer or read IGN’s hands-on impressions.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood

The upcoming Wolfenstein: Youngblood, which puts players in control of BJ’s twin daughters, got a new trailer. IGN’s preview of Youngblood praised its combat, calling it “as fast and fun as ever.”

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2

Gameplay was revealed for the upcoming Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2. IGN praised the upcoming RPG in our E3 2019 preview for its focus on player choice.

Rainbow Six Quarantine

The newly revealed Rainbow Six Quarantine is a three-player co-op horror game “built on the foundation” of Rainbow Six Siege. It’s coming in early 2020.

No More Heroes 3

No More Heroes 3 was announced during the E3 Nintendo Direct. It’s headed to the Nintendo Switch in 2020.

Blair Witch

The team behind Layers of Fear revealed their new Blair Witch game, a first-person horror adventure set in 1996.

Dragon Quest Builders 2

Dragon Quest Builders 2 is getting a worldwide launch on Switch on July 12.

Roller Champions

Roller Champions is a free-to-play online roller derby from Ubisoft.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint

Ghost Recon Breakpoint had a lengthy presentation during Ubisoft’s E3 2019 press conference, showing off a new cinematic trailer, gameplay, and revealing a beta for this September.

Psychonauts 2

The reveal of Psychonauts 2’s new gameplay trailer came alongside the news that Xbox Game Studios has acquired Double Fine Productions.

Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers

The newest Final Fantasy XIV expansion, Shadowbringers, got a new trailer. It’s out on July 2.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Heroes from the Dragon Quest series and Banjo-Kazooie are joining the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate roster of fighters.

Astral Chain

Astral Chain got a new story trailer and a full Nintendo Treehouse Live gameplay presentation.

Way to the Woods

A new Way to the Woods trailer showed off more of this mysterious adventure about two deer trying to find their way home in a strangely abandoned world.

12 Minutes

12 Minutes, a thriller set over the course of several 12 minute time loops, got a brand new reveal trailer at Microsoft’s E3 2019 press conference.

Afterparty

Afterparty was announced at E3 2018, but this year we got the news that it would be among several other indie games to be available on Xbox Game Pass on day one. It was among the games featured in Microsoft’s ID@Xbox sizzle reel, the second original adventure game from Oxenfree studio Night School Games.

Forza Horizon 4: LEGO Speed Champions

Forza Horizon 4 is getting a LEGO-themed expansion pack in Forza Horizon 4: LEGO Speed Champions, which IGN’s preview praised for its charm and sense of humor.

Microsoft Flight Simulator

A brand new Microsoft Flight Simulator powered by satellite data was announced at Microsoft’s E3 2019 press conference.

FIFA 20

FIFA 20 got a release date prior to E3, but EA Play brought us more gameplay details, including locations, modes, and match types.

Anthem

IGN got some hands-on time with Anthem’s new Cataclysm event at EA Play, but wasn’t fully sold on its potential.

Madden NFL 20

EA revealed more details about Madden NFL 20 at EA Play, including info on its upcoming closed beta.

Wasteland 3

Wasteland 3 got an all-new trailer at Microsoft’s E3 2019 press conference.

Spiritfarer

Jotun developer Thunder Lotus unveiled their new game Spiritfarer at the Microsoft E3 2019 press conference.

John Wick Hex

IGN got hands-on time with John Wick Hex, the top-down tactics game based on the popular movie franchise, which IGN’s preview praised for its “tense and thrilling” choices.

Trials of Mana

Trials of Mana is getting a full remake, which IGN’s preview called “just what this series needs.”

Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition

Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition is finally coming to PC and Xbox One this year. Microsoft debuted a new 4K reveal trailer during its E3 2019 press conference.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps

Microsoft revealed a release date for Ori and the Will of the Wisps during its E3 2019 press conference – it’s headed to PC and Xbox One on February 11, 2020.

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga

The newly announced LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will include levels from every numbered Star Wars film, including The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker.

Phantasy Star Online 2

Phantasy Star Online 2 is making its debut in the West as a free-to-play MMO for PC and Xbox One.

Battletoads

Battletoads gameplay was revealed at Microsoft’s E3 2019 press conference. It features three-player couch co-op.

Gears POP!

Gears POP! made an appearance at Microsoft’s E3 2019 press conference with some more gameplay to show off.

Tom Clancy’s Elite Squad

A crossover mobile RPG featuring characters from Tom Clancy games like The Division, Rainbow Six, and Ghost Recon was announced. It’s called Tom Clancy’s Elite Squad and it’s coming to iOS and Android.

Just Dance 2020

Just Dance 2020 is coming later this year.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered is coming to PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android later this year.

Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition

Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definition Edition is headed to Nintendo Switch on September 27.

Kingdom Hearts 3 Re:Mind

Kingdom Hearts 3’s new story DLC Re:Mind is coming later this year.

Commander Keen

A new Commander Keen game was announced for iOS and Android during Bethesda’s E3 2019 press conference. Just called Commander Keen, the game is a “modern take” on the series, putting players in control of the original Commander Keen’s kids, Billy and Billie. It will be soft launching for free in the coming months.

Lost in Random

EA announced three new EA Originals, including a strategy action game from Fe developer Zoink Games’ called Lost in Random.

RustHeart

RustHeart is another EA Original announced by EA, a co-op action RPG from Glowmade.

Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics

Netflix announced a Dark Crystal tactics game called Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics, which will tie in with its upcoming Netflix series.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order

IGN got the chance to demo Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order, praising it for “modernizing and expanding” on the series’ core experience.

Contra: Rogue Corps

A new Contra game, Contra: Rogue Corps, was announced during the E3 2019 Nintendo Direct. IGN’s preview praised its potential despite a massive departure from the classic series.

Baldur’s Gate 3

Baldur’s Gate 3 was revealed during Google’s Stadia Connect event, but we learned more about it during the PC Gaming Show at E3 2019.

Super Mario Maker 2

The E3 2019 Nintendo Treehouse Live gameplay presentation on the upcoming Super Mario Maker 2 detailed more about the upcoming Mario Maker sequel, including its online multiplayer.

Catherine: Full Body

Catherine: Full Body got a new trailer and Persona 5 DLC details at E3 2019.

Control

E3 2019 gave us even more of Remedy’s upcoming action game Control, including a brand new teaser and gameplay showcase.

Shenmue 3

E3 gave us a new look at Shenmue 3 gameplay, which our E3 2019 preview said “feels more like a video game than its predecessors.”

SkateBIRD

SkateBIRD launched its Kickstarter and an alpha demo during the E3 2019 Kinda Funny Games Showcase.

The Sinking City

E3 gave us a look at new gameplay from The Sinking City, which IGN’s preview praised for its compelling setting and the way it trusts the player’s detective skills to lead them.
