Team Fnatic’s 2017 comeback was pretty cool

Here’s the thing about MOBAs: They are really complicated. They take a really long time to get into, and once you’re in, you’re in. You’re no longer a normal person. You’re a MOBA Person. When I tell a normal person I’ve logged 400 hours in Dota 2, they gasp. When I tell a MOBA person the same thing, they chuckle derisively.

And they should. When I’m watching high-level play in Dota 2 or League of Legends, all I see is a wall of dancing colors and twinkling lights, like when you jam your palms into your eyeballs really hard.

We wanted to learn how they do that, so we talked to experts from the world of League, and revisited one of the most harrowing comebacks in the game’s history.

Check out the video above to learn just how much work it takes to excel at League, and to hear about one team that held together when others couldn’t.
