Alan Wake will be added, too
Xbox Game Pass for Console subscribers will gain access to Alan Wake and Cities: Skylines on Thursday. Minecraft Dungeons will become available on its May 26 release date, too. These games, as well as Plebby Quest: The Crusades, will be available for Xbox Game Pass for PC subscribers “coming soon,” Microsoft says.
Remedy Entertainment announced May 14 that Alan Wake, the beloved cult classic video game, would be added to the lineup in celebration of its 10th anniversary. Cities: Skylines is an immersive city-building game that’s also available for free for PlayStation Plus subscribers this month. Minecraft Dungeons is a dungeon crawler-inspired game for up to four players.
The last new game, Plebby Quest: The Crusades, which is only available for PC subscribers, was released on April 8 by developer PiedPipers. It’s described by the studio as a turn-based strategy game where you ask one question: “Will you burn, or be burnt?”
As these games are added to Xbox Game Pass for both console and PC programs, other games must leave. On Xbox Game Pass for PC, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, Hydro Thunder Hurricane, Old Man’s Journey, Opus Magnum, and Stealth Inc 2 are leaving on May 29.
For Xbox Game Pass for Console subscribers, it’s IDARB, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, Hydro Thunder Hurricane, King of Fighters ’98 Ultimate, and Old Man’s Journey that are leaving on May 29.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is available for $14.99 a month, which gives subscribers access to both the console and PC programs. First-time subscribers can get a month for $1. If you’re interested only in Xbox games, it’s $9.99 for the Xbox-only Game Pass. Xbox Game Pass for PC is available for a limited-time price of $4.99 a month (usually $9.99 a month).
