<p>Allegra Swift says <a href=" ">the post she wrote about her mother, Dixie Swift,</a> gave her mother new insight about the impact she had on people from her past and ways she continues to inspire them.</p>
<p>Several people have written and submitted posts about women in their family only to quickly follow up with an email saying &#8220;Please take that down!  I need to post a revision!  I showed my family the post and I had the stories wrong.&#8221;  The posts were a vehicle for families to share and record stories that some family members had never heard.</p>
<p>Other posts have provided a way for people such as former students, co-workers, life partners, and family members to honor someone that they admire.</p>
