We at The Grenfell Action Group have long admired the excellent work carried out by our near neighbours, Kilburn Unemployed Workers Group, and the efforts they make to assist those not currently receiving a wage and other members of the community who are facing State harassment.

Today we are calling on our supporters to join members of the Kilburn Unemployed Workers Group outside North Kensington Jobcentre, 292 Kensal Road between 3-4pm next Monday 18th May to distribute leaflets and to demonstrate against the Tory Governments’ welfare policies that seek to demonise and destroy the poor and excluded in our community.

The Grenfell Action Group are proud to join Kilburn Unemployed Workers Group in this “call out” and we urge our readers to support this important action to oppose Tory welfare brutality and help build solidarity with other local activists.
