Twitter has enlisted nine professors to study “incivility and intolerance in Twitter conversations,” explaining that “intolerant discourse” like “hate speech” and “xenophobia” is “inherently threatening to democracy.”

You know what’s inherently threatening to democracy? Censorship, and hordes of foreign invaders who don’t appreciate the White man’s democratic principles.

If anything, xenophobia upholds democracy by limiting the franchise to those with “skin in the game”. Xenophilia kills democracy by devaluing each citizen’s vote and ushering in tribal politics.

The Left has very comfortably settled into the premise that democracy depends on narratives they alone get to control.

It’s pretty amazing how cozily they managed that.

They managed it by marching through the institutions, wiping out any trace of internal opposition, and weaponizing the displaced nurturing and social conformism instincts of single White women.

But the Left’s physiognomy is fated to betray them. Clear eyes, full heart, heavy sack…their reckoning is coming.
