“We introduced the post of Minister of State for Happiness     (make a pause here and read it again)     whose mission is to channel policies and plans to achieve a happier society,” – tweeted minister of UAE.

Great! Sounds almost like “pursuit of happiness” in lawful forms.

May be it’s time to think about important staff…finally…. and acknowledge them.

What else could be more important than happiness? My only answer is- health, cause it is often a part of happiness too.

And on the minister’s budget resolution after every proposal to the cabinet  will be following explanation: “Because it makes people happy”. That’s right!

We are fully aware of importance of this role, but we also remember at the back of our minds a “Brave new world”. So let’s indulge in happiness without suffocating in it.

Or is it no such a thing like too much happiness?

Счастье даётся сложно и не всем. А чтобы “давалось” всем, то в Эмиратах, например, ввели должность Министра штата по Счастью.

Да- да, я не описалась. Примьер- министр  ОАЭ написал в твиттере, что  главная задача министерства – разрабатывать планы и направлять политику в нужное русло для достижения более счастливого общества… Предвижу, что многие сначала подумали о том, что деньги девать некуда, а мне показалось, что здоровье, как и счастье, самые главные вещи в жизни, так почему бы не обзавестись министром, который бы отвечал за мое счастье. По крайней мере, арабам уже есть кого винить за несчастливые дни.

А самое замечательное, это то, чем будет объяснять новый министр свои решения: ” Потому что это делает людей счастливыми (и точка и улыбайся…улыбайся)”.
