Every time I see a “talking with each other” couple dining out I’m celebrating.

I just saw in Bali so many couples who are going out because they need to eat something but that’s pretty much what they do together. The only thought about it makes me sad.

They are not talking anything apart from the menu, because they are busy looking at/on/in theirs phones, watching a movie on the phone, playing a game, texting, facebooking, having a conversation over the phone with theirs friends, almost having an affair with soulless device.

And I’m wondering, why do you need a buddy to go out? Just for the sake of not to challenge a society with your “I’m-O.K-on-my-own” look? And again, if you are “O.K” on your own, why do you need a buddy/body next to you?

I guess it’s better to concentrate on the positive, right? Every time I see a “talking with each other” couple dining out I’m celebrating!!!

•••
