And here I’m in the supermarket in front of  1000 choices and 100 special offers.

We are consuming and we are consumed. My closest supermarket offers me to sign up for a loyalty card, which is apparently helps me to save some cents and helps me to live life happier (ever after).

I wonder…

I’m flying to Europe with the flyby points, buying a fuel for my car with this card, get a “cheap” insurance for my house via same plastic thing, the points linked to my credit card and besides of it this card can register everything what I just bought.

I think, I’m getting slightly transparent. People start to see through me, not just people – robots can do it too. They are at this particular moment calculating my profile and creating a “unique offer for me” (which they will send it to me directly on my Facebook page). Am I already a number or just an air molecule? And this all for a $50 saving a year. I guess, I’m selling my soul cheap…. Am I?

Вот и наступило оно – супермаркетовское счастье! А мы его так ждали!

Один мой одноклассник (“…он стоил двух”), говорит, что лучше нам обратно взад, в коммунизм, то бишь. Я же – бьюсь головой об стену. И не от переизбытка мозга – ах, далеки мы от этого,  и не потому, что капитализм – лучшая система человечества, но, видится мне, что  пока ничего лучшего мы не придумали. И, вот оно, детище свободы и равноправия (не равенства!!!!)  – супермаркет. А мне страшно, прокрутив пару тысячелетний вперед, случись “Кысь”, останется от нас только бутылка ” Кока-Колы”, пластиковый пакет с пластиковой коробкой и железный гаджет… вместо головы…
