Yesterday I was  at the theatre rehearsal.

A friend of mine is directing this show, and a friend of this friend wrote this play. I’m only missing one friend  (or in worst case scenario, friend of a friend of a friend) who is acting in the play and then it would become a “friends’ production”.

The long story  short: after apocalypse, there are only 3 survivals – two boys and one girl. Intriguing , right? Looks like girl has more chances, but I’m not sure that in this scenario girl is “winning”, cause everything  is possible. Apparently in apocalypse everyone is equal… or may be… not…. really… it is the other way around, isn’t it?

May be I should try to finish it  with another sentence? How about “…and as we know: if you search for a is a woman – you ll find a trouble “.

Вчера (вернее сказать позавчера) я была на репетиции театральной постановки.

Постановка называется “Апокалипсис”. Смысл ее в том, что где- то в Австралии после апокалиптических событий  остаются в живых только трое: двое молодых людей и девушка.

Это почти что ситуация с необитаемым островом, где задача выживания встает на первое место. Я всегда думала, что у девушки в таком сценарии больше шансов, но оказывается, что им- то при таком раскладе сложнее  всего. На женщине гирляндами висят ожидания и ещё она при этом борется за выживание и обустраивает уют. Не правда ли, всё это так похоже на русский национальный образ женщины вне апокалиптических событий?
